Position : Sr. UI Developer

Reporting To:

Will report to the Development Manager – Engineering of Flytxt Technology Pvt. Ltd.

Reportees:

Software Engineers may be identified as necessary to achieve the department’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

The Sr. UI Developer will be accountable for the following but not limited to:

1. Develop and design high quality code that works across browsers
2. Provide framework, patterns and best practice recommendations
3. Prepare and review UI mock-ups for feature requirements and provide recommendations to UI wireframes taking into account trade-offs between usability and technical complexity
4. Should religiously follow Agile development process (SCRUM)
5. Provide UI development process recommendations
6. Mentor and coach Jr. UI developers
7. Conduct code reviews and ensure the general quality of code
8. Resolve technical issues and development impediments faced by Jr. UI developers
9. Augment, append and adhere to UI coding standards, guidelines and checklists
10. Research and develop Web2.0 and RIA frameworks that can be successfully integrated with the NEON platform

Qualification & Experience:

Essential:

1. 5 years+ experience in UI development/Designing.
2. Strong experience in Struts, Javascripts, XML, Hibernate.
3. Strong design experience with UML & Design Patterns.
4. Strong preference in JUnit and test driven development.
5. Self driven, creative and passionate about creating the best and most stable software
6. EXT JS framework knowledge will be an added advantage
   

Compensation:

The compensation will be at par with the best in the industry, including Revenue linked incentives. Deserving candidates will also be considered for participating in the Flytxt stock option program.
