David Harper has been a Board Member of Flytxt since 2000 and took over as the Chairman in 2005. He has over 30 years of experience in high-end technology industry playing key executive roles which include CEO of Dialog Semiconductor (NASDAQ) and VP of European Operations for 8X8 Inc. (NASDAQ). He holds an Electrical Engineering Degree from the Institute of Science and Technology - University of Manchester.
Mark Diskin has co-founded a number of companies since 1971 including Alta Berkeley Venture Partners, a European venture capital firm that specialises in providing venture capital for the healthcare, IT and media sectors. Having been an independent consultant since 1988, he has considerable experience in assisting with the growth of private companies. Currently he is a non-executive director and/or chairman of several private companies both in the UK and abroad. He has been a director of CLPL since 2000. Mark graduated with a B. Comm. from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College, USA. He is a Chartered Accountant and has worked for Peat Marwick Mitchell, London and The Singer Company, New York.
Tobias has been a part of the Flytxt team since 2004. Prior to his involvement in Flytxt, he held a managerial role and led corporate efficiency projects at CompuCredit Corp., a US-based direct marketer of credit cards. Tobias currently serves as an Investment Manager at Behrenwaldt Investment GmbH. He holds an MBA in Finance and a BBA in Management from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University in Atlanta.
Following his graduation in 1994 Jörg Swoboda (born in 1966), worked for KPMG-Bayerische Treuhandgesellschaft and then for KPMG Deutschland in the financial advisory services. He specialised in annual audits, preparing expert business opinions in the fields of business evaluation, financial planning, budgeting and due diligence. In addition, he has worked as IPO consultant. In July 2000 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of IVC Venture Capital AG, Bad Homburg, Germany. Since the beginning of 2003 he has managed the company as Sole Director (CEO). In 2006 Jörg Swoboda founded Frankfurt based ValuePrice AG, an independent service provider for calculating impartial valuations of illiquid and complex financial instruments in line with regulatory requirements. He is also member of various supervisory boards including 360 Treasury Systems, Frankfurt.
Roger Stone has 25 years marketing experience particularly in the fields of strategic marketing, product marketing, and online sales & marketing. He worked for 11 years at Dell Computer Corporation holding various positions including Director of Online Business for Northern Europe and Director of Notebook Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In addition he spent 2 years as a technology marketing director at Newtonmore Advisors, where he investigated potential investments and monitored portfolio companies for a privately owned investment vehicle, with a focus on the wireless and IT services sectors. Since 2002 he has run his own marketing consultancy, working particularly with start ups to define and implement their marketing and sales strategies. Roger has served on the boards of a number of companies and is currently director of WirelessMatch Limited, an online investment network for companies and angel investors in the UK wireless market.
